How is Shea made:
The Shea nuts are boiled, sun dried, crushed and hand blended to extract the liquid fat.
Then it’s sifted by hand and simmered to a low temperature, once cooled it is stirred by hand to form Unrefined Shea Butter.
No machinery, solvents or hexanes are used in this process.
PLEASE NOTE
Those sensitive to latex may “break out” if they come in contact with Shea Butter.
Those with Psoriasis are strongly advised to conduct a patch test first before using Shea Butter. Shea encourages cell regeneration, something that psoriasis sufferers do not require as psoriasis occurs when cells of the outer layers of skin regenerate too fast for the body to naturally slough off.
