Description: Our Babassu Bars are handmade and contain completely natural ingredients. Your hair will love the luxurious lather and bubbly action of our shampoo. No sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), no sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), no phthalate, no artificial colours, no sodium polyacrylate, no added vegetable glycerine, no animal products, not tested on animals, no petroleum based detergents & no propylene glycols.

Benefits: Each ingredient in our Babassu shampoo has its own benefits. Organic babassu oil is rich in vitamin E, an anti-oxidant purported to boost scalp circulation, and phytosterols, that stimulates new cell regeneration as well as healthy hair growth. Together, these components add glow and elasticity to your hair. Other active ingredients include organic extra virgin olive oil and organic castor oil. They all combine to promote a clean, healthy environment for your scalp whilst removing toxins.

Additional Benefits: One of the many additional benefits of our Babassu Shampoo Bars is the fact that they are environmentally friendly. Even the paper they’re wrapped in is recyclable! Not only that, they’re great for travelling, too. All you have to do is cut off a piece, wrap it, and pop it in your suitcase.

Application: Make sure your hair is absolutely drenched then rub our Babassu Shampoo Bar between the palms of your hands with water. Work up a rich lather then gently and thoroughly apply to your naturally curly hair in sections. Starting from the scalp down to the ends, coating each strand with luscious lather. Then rinse away with warm water. In general one bar is good for about twenty shampoos depending on the thickness, length, and density of your hair. Our rich conditioning Babassu shampoo bars are so gentle they can also be used to wash your entire body. 

Tip:
For optimum shampoo results please ensure that you rid your hair and scalp of product residue, build up, silicones and other deposits – before – you Babassu.
You can use either:
An Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV rinse) to naturally clarify your scalp.
Mix:
1 part of apple cider vinegar
3 parts warm water
Then pour the mixture over your hair and scalp – making sure that you avoid the eye area.
Massage for a few minutes then rinse with warm water.
Or..
Simply add a teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda to your bubble-action lather when you shampoo.
